Perfect! My boys are still young but you can bet they WILL be receiving this lesson in our home! I worry so much for them that they’ll make the right choices at the right times and as a parent I think they are so used to just hearing “no” from me that they just start hearing “wah, wah, wah, sex..blah, blah, blah, wait”. It’s so helpful to have a framework of biology AND doctrine and in relative terms to something they can understand…FOOD! Ha! Well done!

Thank you for this lesson. I am actually looking for something else when I came upon this lesson. I felt prompted to read the entire thing. First, the one for the yw and then this.
At this time where the youth are being bombarded with different challenges and confused with various values and beliefs, this presentation will help them stay firm in the faith and understand the true essence of the physical powers given by a loving Heavenly Father.
Thank you for sharing this. I am actually planning to share this with our youth but am still praying for further inspiration.

Exactly what I was needing for our FHE with our teenagers. So perfectly explained.
The food guide in our country is a bit different, but that is an easy switch. I especially liked how sex is explained as being good – in so many different ways in this lesson. I don’t feel like that was how I was taught and I know many women my age had real issues when they got married when suddenly what was bad was now supposed to be good. A lot of serious guilt and inability to enjoy the new situation they found themselves in. Thanks so much for this!
